Fresh frazzled edges
flowering first issue
tissue box packed plastic
slit lid the space to conquer
push and tear through impatient
masculine fingers no match
for impatiens - fine, refined
and delicate “ultra soft”
fragranced radiance but
in bits and pieces
this new spring emergence
torn to pieces but
born for one purpose
to pull the others through.
