According to Dr. David Anders an author, convert, and popular Catholic commentator (“Called to Communion with Dr. David Anders” Eternal Word Television Network EWTN), the second greatest miracle in Christ’s Church after His Resurrection is the worldwide spreading of the faith to the Gentiles. Literally, in every nook and cranny of the world today the name Jesus Christ is proclaimed. We are going to be prosecuted, ridiculed, even put to death in some countries - although in the US, religious liberty laws offer some protections, we don’t expect any better treatment than the Master received - for we are His friends and we are His servants. Is a servant treated better than the master? “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.” Matthew 10:24. Yet Jesus himself taught his disciples to not waste their time on unbelievers: ”And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.” Matthew 10:14.
